Health & Safety

Optima Site Solutions Ltd expect all candidates supplied to our clients to follow our strict Health & Safety rules. Optima send all candidates our Health & Safety rules upon commencement of each contract they undertake. This is to ensure that any changes are presented to our candidates on a regular basis so that they are aware of our expectations and their individual responsibilities in line with current legislation.

We are committed to ensuring that the Health & Safety of our candidates, clients and all site personnel is of the upmost importance and continually reviewed. We are accredited to both CHAS (The Contractors Health & Safety Scheme) and Safe Contractor (The Health & Safety Assessment Scheme).

Conduct Policy

Optima Site Solutions Ltd expect all candidates to:

  • Always wear the appropriate PPE (hard hat, hi-visibility vest, steel toe cap boots, goggles and gloves).
  • Take your CSCS Health & Safety card to site each day.
  • Work to a high standard at all times.
  • Respect and carry out all instructions from site management.
  • Respect the health & safety of all site personnel as well as your own.
  • Be polite at all times and treat everyone respectfully.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
  • Ensure your honesty and integrity at all times.
  • Not to take or tamper with any property that belongs to the client or any site personnel.
  • Not to fraudulently try and claim any hours on your timesheet that you have not actually worked.
  • Not to attend site under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs


Optima Site Solutions Ltd operate a zero tolerance policy. Any candidates found in breach of Optima Site Solutions Ltd conduct policy will not be used by Optima on future contracts and in some cases may face prosecution.
